The scullers will assemble in the starting area in numerical order and then proceed to the starting line divided in two rows with the odd numbers on the right side and the even numbers on the left side; they will have to follow the instructions given by the Marshal.
The course of the race goes upstream up to a half-way buoy, turns to the left around it, and returns downstream to the R.S.C. Cerea. The river will be divided longitudinally by a row of buoys for about 750 metres for the first part of the course and consequently also for the return. Going up the course the scullers should keep to their right (which is the orographical right bank of the river or the hill side). After the buoy turn they should continue to keep to their right (which is the city side of the river or the orographical left side). The correct passage under the arches of the 3 bridges over the course is indicated by signboards.  If the correct arch is not taken, the sculler will be disqualified. In case of overtaking, the sculler who is being overtaken should give way without obstructing the overtaking boat. A sculler continuously failing to yield may incur disqualification. It is forbidden to overtake 50 meters before or after the half-way buoy and in close proximity of obstacles (bridge arches, tight turns). Every participant will be given a copy of the traffic rules, which will be available for consultation also on the race web-site. For any further information concerning the Regatta, please contact the R.S.C. Cerea (phone +39 0116504330; fax: +39 0110676816; e-mail: info@silverskiff.org).
