REGATTA ANNOUNCEMENT 

  1. Amici del Fiume, C. Amici del Remo, CRAL Eridano, CUS Torino, SC Armida, SC Caprera, SC Esperia Torino, ASD New Country – Masterclub 2.0.
  2. These competitions are not valid for the national Italian Classification in any category.
  3. RACE SCHEDULE
    Sunday, 10th November, 2019:
    The SILVERSKIFF – m. 11.000
    A time endurance race on the distance of 11 km for men and women single scullers in the following categories: Junior A and B, Under 23, Senior A, Lightweight, Master (A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I).
    Saturday, 9th November, 2019:
    The KINDERSKIFF –mt. 1.000
    A time endurance race on the distance of 1 km in 7,20 singles, for boys and girls of the following categories: ALLIEVI B1 (born in 2008) and ALLIEVI B2 (born in 2007)
    The KINDERSKIFF –mt. 4.000
    A time endurance race on the distance of 4 km in 7,20 singles, for boys and girls of the following categories: ALLIEVI C (born in 2006), and CADETTI (born in 2005). For these categories entries are admitted also for single sculls, both male and female
  4. ENTRIES
    The entry deadline is November 2nd 2019 at 24:00 PM.
    Entries will have to be submitted through the www.silverskiff.org website.
    Withdrawals after the entry deadline have to be written to  ritiri@silverskiff.org. After November 2nd 2019 at 24:00 PM, in case of withdraw, the fee for scratched entries will not be refunded.
  5. ENTRY FEES:
    Entries up to 24:00 PM of September 14th 2019
    – KINDERSKIFF €  7.00
    – SILVERSKIFF
           €  30.00 standard fee
           €  50.00 master fee
    Entries up to 24:00 PM of October 13th 2019
    – KINDERSKIFF €  14.00
    – SILVERSKIFF
           €  35.00 standard fee
           €  60.00 master fee
    Entries up to 24:00 PM of November 2rd 2019
    – KINDERSKIFF €  21.00
    – SILVERSKIFF
          €  40.00 standard fee
          €  70.00 master fee
    Fees will have to be paid by credit card or bank transfer at the time of registration according to the instructions available on the www.silverskiff.org website. Registration will be effective only after fees have been paid.
    The regatta committee feels free to refuse entries over 600 participants.
    In case of entry revocation or withdrawal by the deadline, the fees already paid will be virtually reaccredited to the participant’s club who will be allowed to use them for new entries either in the same or in the next edition.
  6. REGISTRATION
    SILVERSKIFF
    REGISTRATION: on Friday 8th November 2019 from 4.00 to 6.00 PM and on Saturday 9th November 2019 from 10.00 to 12.00 AM and from 03.00 to 06.30 PM at the RSC Cerea.
    KINDERSKIFF
    REGISTRATION: on Friday 8th November 2019 from 4.00 to 6.00 PM and on Saturday 9th November 2019 from 10.00 to 12.00 AM at the R.S.C. Cerea.
    On Saturday morning, in case of need, priority will be given to the clubs with athletes participating at the Kinderskiff and Para-Rowing SilverSkiff.
    In order to streamline the registration procedures, the representatives of the clubs are invited to show the print of the bar code found on the website at the registration page.
    The schedule of the races will be posted on the notice board located at the R.S.C. Cerea and every participating rowing club will be provided with a copy of it. Every athlete will be provided with a map detailing the race course.
  7. PROGRAMME OF THE COMPETITION 
    SILVERSKIFF
    Sunday 10th November 2019:
    –        09.15 AM: scullers will assemble in the starting area down the river from the R.S.C. Cerea;
    –        09.30 AM: start according to the numerical order at 15 seconds intervals.
    KINDERSKIFF
    Saturday 9th November 2019:
    –        12.45 AM: scullers will assemble in the starting area down the river from the R.S.C. Cerea;
    –        1.00 PM: start according to the numerical order at 15 seconds intervals.
    15 minutes after the arrival of the last participant, the athletes in the Allievi C and Cadetti categories will be given the start at 15 seconds intervals.
    Information during the competition will be posted on the notice board located at the R.S.C. Cerea and communicated through loudspeakers.
  1. PRIZES
    The winning woman and man scullers in the SILVERSKIFF race are awarded a prize in gold coins of the value of 1500,00 Euro. 1200,00 Euro in gold coins are awarded to the second-placed and 1000,00 Euro in gold coins are awarded to the third-placed.
    A special prize of the value of 1.000,00 Euro in gold coins is awarded to the sculler who sets up a new record on the SILVERSKIFF course.
    A mountain bike is awarded to the winners (male and female) of the KINDERSKIFF race (on the distance of 4000 meters).
    Trophies are awarded to all first-placed woman and man scullers of all categories.
    Medals of 1st/2nd/3rd level are awarded to the first, second and third-placed scullers of each category.
    The RICCARDO STEINLEITNER MEMORIAL TROPHY is awarded to the Club winning the largest number of prizes (for further details, please refer to the race regulations).
    The sculler who wins the SILVERSKIFF race three times (not necessarily consecutively) is awarded the prestigious SILVERSKIFF TROPHY. A special Trophy will be awarded to the sculler, already winner of the SILVERSKIFF TROPHY, who will get other three victories.
    The winner of the SILVERSKIFF race will be awarded a special watch when he/she wins the race nine times (not necessarily in succession).
  2. TIMING
    The Federazione Italiana Cronometristi will be in charge of it.
  3. Anything not mentioned in this announcement will follow the regulations of the Regolamento di Regata included in the Codice di Gara of the Italian Rowing Federation (including “Endurance races regulation”).

STEINLEITNER MEMORIAL TROPHY: REGULATIONS
Kinder skiff
The trophy is awarded to the club achieving the highest score. Points are assigned as follows:
–        30 points to the winning boy and girl;
–        16 points to the winners of the categories Allievi B and Allievi C.
In case of a draw, the trophy will go to the club obtaining the best placings.
Silver skiff
The trophy is awarded to the club achieving the highest score. Points are assigned as follows:
–        30 points to the winning woman and man scullers;
–        16 points to woman and man winners of the following categories: Junior A and B, Under 23, Senior A, Lightweight;
–        8 points to woman and man winners of the master categories.
In case of a draw, the trophy will go to the club obtaining the best placings.
