REGATTA ANNOUNCEMENT 

XXXV INTERNATIONAL SILVERSKIFF and KINDERSKIFF TROPHY VI SILVERVINTAGE TROPHY (Turin, river Po, November 7th-8th, 2026)

  1. Local Organizing Committee (COL): Reale Società Canottieri Cerea asd with the contribution of the Rowing Clubs C. Amici del Fiume, C. Amici del Remo, CRAL Eridano, CUS Torino, SC Armida, SC Caprera, SC Esperia Torino.
  2. These competitions are not valid for the national Italian Classification in any category.
  3. RACE SCHEDULE Sunday, 8th November, 2026: The SILVERSKIFF – m. 11.000 A time endurance race on the distance of 11 km for men and women single scullers in the following categories: Under 17 and Under 19, Under 23, Under 23 LW, Senior A, Lightweight, Master (A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M). Saturday, 7th November, 2026: The KINDERSKIFF – mt. 1.000 A time endurance race on the distance of 1 km in 7,20 singles, for boys and girls of the following categories: ALLIEVI B1 (born in 2015) and ALLIEVI B2 (born in 2014) Following The SILVERVINTAGE – mt. 4.000 – 1st group A time endurance race on wooden boats built before 1992. Two competition categories: Under 50 and Over 50 Female and Male Following The KINDERSKIFF – mt. 4.000 A time endurance race on the distance of 4 km in 7,20 singles, for boys and girls of the following categories: ALLIEVI C (born in 2013), and CADETTI (born in 2012). For these categories entries are admitted also for single sculls, both male and female Following The SILVERVINTAGE – mt. 4.000 – 2nd group A time endurance race on wooden boats built before 1992. Two competition categories: Under 50 and Over 50 Female and Male
  4. ENTRIES The deadline for registrations is set for 24.00 on Sunday, October 25, 2026. Registrations must be made online through the MySilverSkiff platform accessible from the website www.silverskiff.org. Withdrawals after the entry deadline have to be written to  support@silverskiff.org. After October 25th 2026 at 24:00 PM, in case of withdraw, the fee for scratched entries will not be refunded.
  5. ENTRY FEES TIER 1 – Entries up to 24:00 PM of September 27st 2026KINDERSKIFF: €10,00 SILVERSKIFF: €25,00 standard – €60,00 master SILVERVINTAGE: €40,00 TIER 2 – Entries up to 24:00 PM of October 11th 2026 KINDERSKIFF: €15,00 SILVERSKIFF: €30,00 standard – €75,00 master SILVERVINTAGE: €40,00 TIER 3 – Entries up to 24:00 PM of October 25th 2026 KINDERSKIFF: €20,00 SILVERSKIFF: €35,00 standard – €90,00 master SILVERVINTAGE: €40,00 The fees must be paid within 48 hours of the registration by bank transfer or payment by credit card, according to the methods specified on the website www.silverskiff.org. N.B. Registrations are therefore considered completed only following the crediting of fees within the period indicated above. Otherwise, the registration will be canceled automatically without any notice by the COL The organizing committee, in order to ensure a balance between the various participating categories, reserves no. 450 total quotas for the various master categories and reserves the right not to accept more registrations once the following are reached: – for the Silverskiff the 700 members; – for the KinderSkiff the 350 members. In case of revocation of registrations or withdrawals within the above deadline, the registration fee already paid will be credited virtually to the affiliate who can use it for new registrations in the current edition (obviously to be executed within the same deadline) or in the next edition.
  6. OVERBOOKING Once the registration limits indicated in no. 5 have been reached, the overbooking phase will be activated, during which two different registration methods will be available: Registration with reservation: Athletes will be placed on the waiting list upon payment of a €20.00 surcharge on top of the registration fee applicable at the time the overbooking list is opened. This total fee will remain unchanged for the entire duration of the athlete’s time on the list, regardless of any subsequent price tier transitions. Admission to the SilverSkiff or KinderSkiff remains at the absolute discretion of the Organizing Committee (COL), subject to organizational requirements Off-quota registration: Subject to a maximum availability of 20 spots, direct registration for the event is permitted upon payment of a €50.00 surcharge on top of the final price tier, regardless of the rate applicable at the time of registration
  7. REGISTRATION SILVERSKIFF On Friday 6th November 2026 from 4.00 to 6.00 PM and on Saturday 7th November 2026 from 10.00 to 12.00 AM and from 03.00 to 06.30 PM at the RSC Cerea. KINDERSKIFF & SILVERVINTAGE On Friday 6th November 2026 from 4.00 to 6.00 PM and on Saturday 7th November 2026 from 10.00 to 12.00 AM at the R.S.C. Cerea. On Saturday morning, in case of need, priority will be given to the clubs with athletes participating at the KinderSkiff and SilverVintage. In order to streamline the registration procedures, the representatives of the clubs must have to show the print of the bar code found on the website at the registration page. The race program will available on the event website www.silverskiff.org and a QR code will be available at R.S.C. Cerea to be able to view it on the devices of the subscribers.
  8. PROGRAMME OF THE COMPETITION SILVERSKIFF Sunday 8th November 2026: –   8.30 AM: scullers will assemble in the starting area down the river from the R.S.C. Cerea; –   9.00 AM: start according to the numerical order at 15 seconds intervals for the first group and 20 seconds intervals for the second group. A 10-minute break before the second Senior blockKINDERSKIFF Saturday 7th November 2026: –   11.45 AM: B1 and B2 scullers will assemble in the starting area down the river from the R.S.C. Cerea; –   12.00 AM: start according to the numerical order at 20 seconds intervals. SILVERVINTAGE 1st Group 15 minutes after the arrival of the last KinderSkiff participant, the first group of SILVERVINTAGE entrants will start on the 4,000 meters course at 20 seconds intervals. KINDERSKIFF All.C and Cadetti 15 minutes after the arrival of the last participant of the SILVERVINTAGE, the athletes in the Allievi C and Cadetti categories will be given the start at 20 seconds intervals. SILVERVINTAGE 2nd Group 10 minutes after the departure of the last KinderSkiff participant, the second group of SILVERVINTAGE entrants will start on the 4,000 meters course at 20 seconds intervals. Information during the competition will be posted on www.silverskiff.org and communicated through loudspeakers.
  9. PRIZES A prize in money of the net value of 5,000.00 euros will be awarded to the rowers absolute first classifieds of the SilverSkiff regatta, male and female, of 3,000.00 euros to the absolute second rowers and of 1,500.00 euros to the absolute third classified male and female. A special cash prize of the net value of 1,000.00 euros is raffled, which will be awarded to the rower who will establish the new RECORD OF THE SILVERSKIFF ROUTE, male and female. A Mountain Bike will be assigned to the absolute top rowers of the regatta KINDERSKIFF on the mt. 4,000, female and male. CUP to the absolute winners, female and male, of Kinderskiff, Silverskiff and Female and Male first ranked rowers of each category. MEDALS of I, II and III place will be awarded to the first three rowers classified of each category. SILVER VINTAGE: each participant will receive a participation plate; MEDALS of I, II and III place will be awarded to the first three rowers classified of each category The MEMORIAL RICCARDO STEINLEITNER Trophy will be assigned and delivered to the COMPANY that will win the specific overall Ranking, as per specific attached regulation. The prestigious SILVERSKIFF TROPHY will be awarded to the rower who will achieve three even non-consecutive victories in the Silverskiff race. A special trophy will be awarded to those who, already winner of the Silverskiff Trophy, will also achieve three more victories not consecutive; a special watch will be given to those who will achieve a total of nine victories even non-consecutive.
  10. TIMING The Federazione Italiana Cronometristi will be in charge of it.
  11. Anything not mentioned in this announcement will follow the regulations of the Regolamento di Regata included in the Codice di Gara of the Italian Rowing Federation (including “Endurance races regulation”).
