	The race is drawing near and preparations is raging! Filippi Lido is already preparing the sculls for those who made the request and the organizing committee is working to better prepare the 2008 edition. Among champions have already confirmed the presence Drysdale, Cohen, Synek, Guerette and Knapkova. Many will also be the participation of athletes of the Italian national team. Thanks to the contribution of Filippi, awards in golden coins for the first three absolute winners(men and women) are increased: the first will get 1400 euro, the second Euro 800 and the third 600. Free bicycles made available to those who want following the race along the race are increased and will be 50.

	Two important news for the 2008 edition: in Kinder Skiff not be accepted participation of young athletes belonging to category B and also has been deleted the Adaptive section, introduced only in 2007. Indeed, the Organising Committee had to take this painful decision because of refusal by the Federation Council (contrary to what happened in the past editions) of the request exemptions to settlement of long-distance racing , because for those groups the max distance is only of 1,000 meters. Then on the distance of 4,000 mt of Kinder Skiff can only confront Cadetti categories (born in 1993) and C Category (born in 1994). Even this year are expected many foreigners and is expected participation of many champions, including Mahe Drysdale (world champion), who won the last two editions. Continue our relationship with Filippi Lido, technical sponsor of the race, which will provide some sculls for foreign participants. It will be made available free of charge about 50 bicycles with which follow the athletes along the way. Will be guaranteed a shuttle service to and from the Turin airport and for transfers to hotels.
